Vice President of marketing

The Vice President of Marketing reports to the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President, External Affairs and is responsible for developing and supervising all aspects of marketing and sales for the Harris Theater including advertising, public relations, media relations, print and publications,  graphic design, digital marketing, patron services and social media.   This highly visible position is also responsible for developing and implementing image and branding strategies to develop awareness of the theater and its mission, locally and national, while expanding audiences for the theater’s performances and events – both resident company and Harris Theater presented. The Vice President of Marketing is a member of the theater’s senior leadership team and must be an effective communicator with a passion for music and dance performance in a nonprofit setting.

Annual giving and special events manager

The Annual Giving and Special Events Manager is a mid-level management position on the Annual Giving team. Primary responsibilities include: management and execution of the Theater’s individual Annual Fund program, including the Consortia membership programs and strategic support of Annual Fund solicitations; special event management, Board relations, and individual database management. This position will be responsible for contributing to the overall Annual Fund revenue goal, specifically through the Consortia membership program and Annual Fund solicitation appeals.

Designer and Digital Communications Coordinator

The Designer and Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating robust and engaging digital content and graphics that illustrate the messages or core concepts for specific campaigns, as well as for the Theater’s e-communications and social media networks. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating the Theater’s promotions schedule and managing all content on harristheaterchicago.org.
