View Calendar The PACTT Foundation presents folk legend Greg Brown in his only Chicago-area appearance this season in this special benefit concert for children, teens & young adults with severe autism. Deemed “a wickedly sharp observer of the human condition” by Rolling Stone, singer-songwriter Greg Brown is known for his personal and intimate concerts. He has recorded more than a dozen critically-acclaimed albums, receiving two Grammy nominations, among other national awards. He is a familiar voice to fans of Garrison Keillor’s “Prairie Home Companion.” Greg Brown’s songs have been performed by Willie Nelson, Ani DiFranco, Carlos Santana, Michael Johnson, Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jack Johnson and Joan Baez. For this Harris Theater benefit performance, Greg Brown will be accompanied by his frequent stage partner, guitarist Bo Ramsey. Tickets are priced at $25, $35, $50, $100 ** $100 tickets include premium $50 seating & private post-concert party with Greg Brown ** Greg Brown, known for his efforts on behalf of worthy causes, generously is donating all proceeds from this concert to PACTT Learning Center, a Chicago nonprofit which serves children, teens and young adults with autism. By providing innovative, individualized education, PACTT Learning Center creates a path to inclusion in the community and a life of purpose for young people suffering from the most severe forms of autism.
