In their 45th anniversary, contemporary chamber group, Contempo comes together with the Harris Theater to put on a spectacular display of the best of living composers and cutting-edge performances by contemporary artists. Featuring Grammy Award-winning sextet eighth blackbird and renowned and versatile mezzo soprano Susanne Mentzer, as well as jazz musicians saxophonist Chris Potter and pianist Kenny Werner. To end the evening, Chris Potter and Kenny Werner reunite, thirteen years after their sensational Concord duo album, for a one-time only evening of improvisational “chamber music”.
