Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago’s signature Fall program features three spectacular world premieres: Urban! Funk! Street! Philadelphia’s award-winning superstar choreographer Rennie Harris creates his first piece for a Chicago company! Chicago choreographer Autumn Eckman’s elegant quintet commonthread set to a stunning new neo-folk score by violinist Dan Myers - performed live each night. And Giordano dancer Lindsey Leduc Brenner’s fresh take on modern young love, Gravity. This program will also feature Tony Powell’s technically intricate and wildly virtuosic work Rapture and other favorites from the Giordano repertoire.
