In his youthful Fifth Symphony, Franz Schubert pays homage to his idol, Mozart. Beethoven’s Second Symphony, full of humor and vitality, also looks back to Mozart—while laying the groundwork for the next musical century.  Mozart’s own G Major Piano Concerto, at once intimate and majestic, is at the center of an intriguing program led by Music Director Jane Glover.
