Directions and Parking

DRIVING

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is located at 205 E. Randolph Drive at the north end of Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. When driving, we recommend parking in the Millennium Park Garage, located at 5 S. Columbus Drive. The Millennium Park Garage offers direct access to the Harris Theater lobbies. When entering the garage, follow signs for Millennium Park Garage NOT Millennium Lakeside Garage.  We are unable to validate for Millennium Lakeside, Grant Park North, and Grant Park South Garages. For validation and driving directions, please read below.

To enter the theater from the parking garage, you must be on Level 2.5 of the garage. From this level, you will enter on Level 1 of the Theater. To enter directly from the parking garage, all patrons must have their performance ticket ready. Any patrons who do not have their ticket may take the parking garage elevators to Level 7 of the garage, exit, and take a left on Randolph to enter through our Upper Randolph (Level 5) doors. Box Office/Will Call is located on Upper Randolph (Level 5), which is Level 7 of the parking garage.

Discounted parking validation for Millennium Park Garage is available for all ticket holders at the window just inside of the Level 1 entrance. Ticket holders may validate their parking ticket in the machine at any point during their visit and pay following the performance using the pay machines in the parking garage lobby.

Millennium Park Garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  With validation, parking in Millennium Park Garage is $19 for up to six hours allowing you ample time to attend the performance and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. Patrons may also book parking in advance online here. For further details about parking validation, please contact the box office at 312.334.7777. Regular Box Office hours are 12:00–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and on days with performances through intermission.

For access to the Millennium Park Garage from the south or north on Michigan Avenue, turn east onto Randolph Drive and move to the center lane. This lane becomes the down-ramp to middle Randolph. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right at the first stoplight onto Columbus Drive and follow signs into Millennium Park Garage.

Once inside the Millennium Park Garage, turn right and follow signs that direct you toward the Randolph Street Pedestrian Exit. Parking levels 2 and 3 North offer the most convenient access to the Theater. Parking spaces reserved for those requiring special access are available near the Randolph Street Pedestrian Exit at level 2.
