Mix at Six
Mix at Six, the series the Chicago Tribune says “ups the cultural ante considerably,” is known for offering some of the theater’s most provocative and innovative work, at a time of day that makes it one of the most accessible and engaging performance series yet.
Unfortunately, faced with uncertainty in the months ahead about the impact of COVID-19 — especially when it comes to artist travel and visas — we are unable to move forward as planned with in-person 2020-21 Mix at Six performances. The following performances have been canceled, and we are working with the artists now to find new dates in the 2021-22 season.
- Dwayne Dopsie + The Zydeco Hellraisers | August 19, 2020
- Camila Meza + The Nectar Orchestra | September 2, 2020
- The Cambrians | January 21, 2021
- Nathalie Joachim + Spektral Quartet | March 10, 2021
- Meklit | April 27, 2021
- Chicago Academy for the Arts | May 6, 2021
Now, some good news!
We are re-imagining our 2020-21 Mix at Six to bring you virtual performances and interactive activities from home. The full lineup will be announced in the weeks ahead.
The virtual series subscription is $40 per household, and will grant you access to every program and event – three in total – along with first access and subscriber-only discounts on live, socially-distant outdoor programming planned for next summer.
If you have a 2020-21 Mix at Six subscription and have not received communications from the Harris Theater, please contact the Harris Theater staff at email@example.com.
A Note on Box Office Operations
As a result of COVID-19 and ongoing theater closure, our box office will be on reduced operations through this fall. The best way to reach a member of our team is to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you prefer to call the box office and leave a voicemail, you will hear from us within seven days.
Confirm the status of all 20-21 HTP performances that have been effected by COVID-19 restrictions here.
