Canceled: FAME Chicago
On March 12, 2020, Governor J.B. Pritzker and Mayor Lori Lightfoot banned all public and private gatherings of more than 1,000 people, and urged that gatherings of more than 250 people be suspended for a minimum of 30 days. Following these recommendations, and in the interest of public health, the Harris Theater has canceled all planned events and performances through April 12, 2020.
As a result, FAME Event’s March 28th performance of FAME Chicago has been canceled. All ticket holders will receive an automatic refund within 7 to 10 days to their original method of payment.
The FAME Chicago show choir competition features high school show choirs from around the nation competing for Grand Champion and a chance to move on to the Show Choir National Finals. Groups this year include choirs from Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Oklahoma.
