CMS at Home: Brandenburg Concertos

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center

This virtual program will stream December 17 – 21.

If Johann Sebastian Bach had only left the world his six Brandenburg Concertos, he would still reside in the pantheon of the great composers. With their stunning variety of novel instrumentations, their unforgettable tunes, and their irresistible energy, the Brandenburgs easily serve as a definition of what good music should be.

This year, experience a Harris Theater holiday tradition from the comfort of home. This festive program features all six Brandenburg Concertos — woven together with archived recordings from throughout the years — performed by beloved artists from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) roster.

The video will begin streaming Thursday, December 17 at 5 p.m. and will be available through Monday, December 21. Intermission will feature a conversation by Joseph Conyers, Hyeyeon Park, Jen Montone, and Paul Neubauer.
