The Family Series gives the next generation of performing arts fans the opportunity to experience the theater and interact with artists in an approachable way. Recommended for families with children ages 4 and older (but open to all!), this year’s Family Series features three unforgettable events, beginning with guitarist Kaki King’s BUGS, an interactive production set to colorful visuals, field recordings, and live guitar. King, a mother of two young children herself, was inspired to create this feast for the senses to bring together music, design, and technology in a way that makes live performance accessible for children of all ages. In March, Ragamala Dance Company performs a special Family Series engagement of Children of Dharma, a new work that explores how our actions can impact the world around us.
