Each spring, Ballet Chicago presents Balanchine + Beyond, a program of repertory masterpieces performed by the Ballet Chicago Studio Company. Drawing from a repertory of nearly 50 ballets — including more than a dozen Balanchine masterworks — the program celebrates the beauty, artistry, and enduring legacy of classical ballet alongside works of Artistic Director, Dan Duell, and Resident Choreographer, Ted Seymour. With family-friendly performances and dancing of the highest caliber, Balanchine + Beyond offers audiences an inspiring experience for both longtime ballet lovers and those discovering the art form for the first time.

About Ballet Chicago

Co-founded in 1987 by acclaimed dancer and choreographer Daniel Duell and former ballerina Patricia Blair, Ballet Chicago is dedicated to educating and inspiring young artists through the study of classical ballet. Its mission is to instill life skills that empower students to reach their full potential.
